Ford started releasing details about its 2027 model lineup, and two vehicles already carry confirmed updates: the Ford Expedition and the Ford Super Duty. A third, the Ford Bronco RTR, has been teased but not yet detailed. Shoppers from Vergennes to Rutland County, VT will see these 2027 changes reach our sales lot as the 2027 model year rolls out. 2027 Ford Expedition: A New Anniversary Package and Wider Drivetrain Options
The 2027 Ford Expedition marks three decades on the road with the new 30th Anniversary Appearance Package, available exclusively on Ford Expedition Platinum models. The package pairs 30th Anniversary badging with 22-inch Ebony-painted, bright-machined aluminum wheels and includes a paint color not offered elsewhere in the lineup: Blue Ember Metallic. Two more colors also join the 2027 palette: Bronze Fire Metallic Tinted Clearcoat and Nocturnal Blue Metallic. Bold colors for bold drivers across Addison County.
Drivetrain availability grows, too. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) is now available on the Ford Expedition Platinum and Ford Expedition King Ranch trims, both of which previously required four-wheel drive (4WD). Power carries over from recent model years. The standard 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine makes 400 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. Its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 High-Output engine makes 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque on Platinum and comes standard on Ford Expedition Tremor.
Ford also changed how the Security Package works. It's still included for the first year, but owners around Middlebury, VT, can extend coverage through a monthly subscription or buy it once at the time of sale for seven years of protection.
2027 Ford Super Duty: New Off-Road Trims, Fewer Restrictions
The Ford Super Duty lineup picks up genuine off-road hardware for buyers who don't want a full Tremor build. The Tremor Off-Road Package now pairs with XL trim equipped with the STX Appearance Package, adding 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires and a Tremor-tuned suspension lift to a lower-cost starting point. An electronic locking rear differential comes standard with the package, giving XL buyers from Rutland, VT, the capability that used to require a pricier trim.
The Tremor variant also becomes available on Crew Cab models with the 176-inch wheelbase and 8-foot bed for the first time. That configuration adds a 48-gallon fuel tank, the largest offered on Super Duty. Buyers who want off-road capability without the Tremor badge can choose the new XL Off-Road 35-Inch Tire Package instead. It adds a factory ride-height increase, locking differentials, no exterior decals, and a full-size matching spare comes standard.
Platinum trim now reaches further into the lineup, extending from the Ford Super Duty F-350 to the Ford Super Duty F-550 Chassis Cab. Buyers at that level around Chittenden County get leather seating and SYNC 4 as part of the upgrade. A limited-edition Proud to Honor Package rounds out the changes, bringing patriotic red-white-blue graphics to trims spanning the Ford Super Duty F-250 through the Ford Super Duty F-450.
2027 Ford Bronco RTR: Confirmed but Not Yet Detailed
